Engineering Excellence for Long-Term Performance
Embracing Seastream’s plug-and-play installation philosophy, the Subsea Simulator accurately models the behaviour of the Single-Phase Flow Meter (SPFM) and the Multiphase Wet Gas Flowmeter (MPFM). This allows for comprehensive functionality and reliability testing under a variety of operating conditions and potential failure scenarios, ensuring optimal performance before depoloyment in challenging subsea environments.
Reliability and Safety
The simulator is an essential tool for ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of subsea production systems. By enabling engineers to validate overall control systems functionality early in the project, it helps guarantee optimal performance and reliability from the outset.
Robust Construction
The simulator is constructed from the same components employed in the subsea instrument and as such replicates the subsea device precisely with respect to electrical characteristics such as inrush current and power consumption.
The simulator unit contains two instruments and therefore represents the requirements of API 17F 5th edition for dual redundancy. Fault conditions can be introduced on the control panel to provide full function testing during the integration testing. Each simulator is supplied in a protective waterproof case with suitable test leads to connect to the control system.
